Author biography
Dr. C.C. Doss, PhD, is an author, pastor, evangelist, and gospel recording artist. Since giving his life to Jesus Christ at age 12, he has devoted himself to sharing the gospel and leading others to the Savior. For more than 33 years, he has pastored Love Deliverance Evangelistic Church in Springfield, Illinois. His ministry has reached congregations across the United States and internationally, including South Africa, London, and the Bahamas.
A devoted husband, father of five daughters, and grandfather of eight, Dr. Doss writes with a pastor’s heart and a deep concern for families. Through When Kings Fall, he offers biblical wisdom to help men guard their integrity, protect what matters most, and finish strong. He also shares a message of hope for those who have stumbled: through Jesus Christ, forgiveness and restoration are possible, and a fall does not have to be the end of the story.
A WORD FROM THE AUTHOR
For more than 33 years as a pastor and evangelist, I have watched gifted men rise, succeed, influence others, and accomplish great things—only to see some lose what took years to build because of a few wrong decisions.
I wrote When Kings Fall because I believe a man’s greatest victory is not simply how high he rises, but how well he guards his character, protects his family, honors God, and finishes strong.
This book is a warning, but it is also a message of hope. If you have not fallen, these pages will give you guardrails to help you stand. And if you have fallen, I want you to know that your fall does not have to be the end of your story. Through Jesus Christ, there is grace, restoration, and a way forward.
I also wrote with women in mind—wives, mothers, daughters, grandmothers, and friends who love the men in their lives and want to see them succeed.
My prayer is that When Kings Fall will strengthen men, protect families, restore lives, and help a generation of kings finish strong.
